This time around, Jack Neo released a scary ghost comedy titled “Where Got Ghost?” and we watched it early this morning at 12.05 a.m. at Cineleisure Damansara. The movie is divided into 3 short snippets, each telling a story of its own.

Roadside Got Ghost

The story is about 3 swindlers scamming money out of people. One day, the Chief asked his 2 subordinates to buy supper and some fruits and meet him back home. Both of them bought the supper and totally forget about the fruits. Not wanting to be scold, they took the oranges by the roadside after asking for forgiveness indicating that the oranges were meant for their Chief.

After supper, they came out with an awesome plan. They plan was to call 10, 000 people everyday and tell them they have been blessed by God of Wealth and the winner has to donate 20% of the winnings to the temple. If they winner is reluctant to donate, they will hire gangsters to collect the winnings by beating the crap out of them! From a 3 man con-job, it became a huge company with girls calling out to random people giving the lucky numbers!

One day, the Chief received a called with the same gimmick with the lucky number 6666. He was reluctant to believe it, thinking that someone has copied his idea. However, he bought 100 big and 100 small on the number which strike 1st and 2nd prize, he won SGD 80, 000.00. He was then approached by a guy asking for the 18% donation for the grandmother as she was the one who gave them the lucky number. They made fun of that guy whom later curses him to be killed in the car accident! Not wanting to believe it, he ran to the streets and proved that no car will bang him but alas an accident from the above highway crashed and trampled on him. Before the chief died, he was given a flashback why the ghost was after him!

Forest Got Ghost

The story is about national servicers recall for topography training. This pair of soldiers was warned not used short cuts in the forest. When they were lost, they decided to use shortcut as either of them knows anything about topography.

When shortcutting, one of them stumble across a beautiful girl’s tombstone and gave some comments. In the evening, both of them had stomachache and they had no choice but to do their businesses in the forest until the met the female ghost. They ran their lives but returned to gather their belongings the next day.

The set out their journey to complete their topography mission and stumble across a fat girl selling drinks at their trail. They bought and plan to continue their journey but heavy rain came pouring. They took shelter at the girl’s house. After several incidents, they both died at the house.

House Got Ghost

It was a reunion dinner, approximately one year after their mother past away. The movie is the continuous from the movie “Money Not Enough 2″. While praying for their mother, everyone blame that their mother did not blessed them well enough and they are sucked into the economy turmoil.

While having dinner together, an extra chair appeared. Ah Hui, the eldest son, then removed it and placed it in one corner of the room. However, the chair appears but this time at a different location. It scared the hell out of the family! They were skeptical about their mother joining them for dinner.

A few days latter, the 3 brothers keep having nightmares about their mother. One day, they met a friend whose mother past away also but he end up filthy rich. He says that his mother blessed him from above  and he can stop winning lotteries. From the short conversation, they found out that their mother pass away at night which will not blessed them with wealth and fortune.

So they decided to send their mother’s praying statue (I don’t know the exact word for this, sorry) to the temple to avoid further bad luck. After sending it to the temple, they head down to Johore for a business meeting. While driving in the rain at the highway, the three of them saw their mother’s ghostly figure at the road which caused them to crash their car. They managed to escape unhurt cursing their mother for hurting them. They later realized that their mother saved them as the mountain the mountain collapse and will crushed them if they pass through it. They were blessed and they return to the temple to retrieve their mother and met their filthy rich friend again who is down with cancer and 3 months life left.

It is a horror comedy which will provide you with scary moments as well as laughing moments! If you are the type for extreme horror, this movie is not suited for you. It is a good entertainment movie if you want to have some thrill and laughter. The movie is verse in several Chinese dialects such as Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien including English.
