Speed Racer (Emile Hirsch) grew up in a racing family. His brother, Rex Racer, was one of the top racers till he met an accident and died during the Crucible, a cross country car racing rally.

Speed was well known for his natural racing instincts and was offered a lucrative offer to race for the Royalton Industries. Royalton Industries produced many racing legends. Speed was loyal to his family business (run by his father, Pops) and rejected his offer. This is when he found out that over the years, all the race results was fixed to gain profits.

He started losing races as Royalton ensures that he never crosses the finished line by plotting some evil tricks behind the scenes. In order to race again, he have to beat Royalton at his own game. Teaming up with Mysterious Racer X and a Japanese driver, they made a deal to exposed Royalton but they were betrayed.

However, Speed Racer receives an invitation to participate in the Grand Prix. Placing a million dollars on Speed Racer’s head, everyone is out to get him and make sure he do not finished the race. During the race, the evil tricks of Royalton were exposed and he was send to jail. Speed Racer won the race.

This movie has plenty of CGI effects and the cars are designed beautifully. The race is exciting but the stunts tricks could be better. This movie is based on a Japanese cartoon. Mach GoGoGo. Why three Go’s? The lead character’s name was originally Mifune Go, “Go” is Japanese for the number 5 on the car, and of course, it means GO, Speed, GO!

After robbing 3 casinos 3 years ago in Ocean Eleven, one of the casino owner – Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) is back to pursue back his money. Ocean’s Eleven was giving 2 weeks to raise the money with interest.

This time around, they went to Amsterdam. However, their plans to robbed antique stock certificates were foiled by a top notch thief (Vincent Cassel). The jealous thief issues a challenge to find out who is the best in the field. The thief foiled most of their plans and got most of them jailed.

Left with 3 members, they seek Ocean’s wife, Tess (Julia Roberts) for help. All of them got caught and was jailed but was released later with the help of Linus’s mother and father, whom are higher ranks in the police force (I assumed).

The whole scenario was an act as Danny’s Eleven had already gotten the challenge treasure with the help of the thief’s mentor few days earlier. In the end, Danny’s Eleven + his wife (Twelve) won the challenge and the money to pay off their debts.

At Mr. Rad’s warehouse, the best hip hop crews in Los Angeles compete for money and respect. Elgin (Marques Houston) & David’s (Omarion Grandberry) crew were ruling the warehouse’s dance floor until they received a challenge from a suburban crew, led by Wade; with USD 5000 at stake.

Elgin and David raised the money with all the other crew and are up against the challenge. This is when Wade (Christopher Jones) played dirty. He stole their crew members and stole their dance moves. The challenge was lost and the money was gone.

Being broke, they raised the money by helping Emerald (Black Market Dealer) selling stuffs to earn money and one day Elgin got rob and he was badly injured. Elgin was seriously in debt and his friendship with David was torn apart. Elgin was given few weeks to raise the money to repay Emerald.

Both of them started their own crew and participated in Hip Hop contest with USD 50, 000 at stake and featuring in Lil Kim’s MTV. The contest was awesome with superb challenge. David’s crew fell apart and Elgin continued on. The finals continue with 4 teams left but the final result was a tie. So both team battle it out – street style and with no rules! This is when both David and Elgin patched things out and won the tournament. The dance was better than ever!

One of the best dancing movies I have ever watched. This is better than Step Up and you will be continuously thrilled with their dance moves! A must watch movie.
