Two years had passed since Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and the Autobots saved the human race from the invading Decipticons. Trying to live a normal life by going to college and separating from his parents, he heads to college leaving his girlfriend – Mikaela (Megan Fox) and Bumblebee behind. When Sam was about to leave his house, he discovered a shard which can turn anything electronic into robotic Decepticons. BumbleBee came to the rescue but the house was badly destroyed!
Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and the Autobots are now part of a TOP SECRET military called NEST. Operating alongside their human counterparts, they are out to eliminate any Decepticons discovered. The military is lead by field commanders Major Lennox (Josh Dushamel) and USAF Master Sergeant Epps (Tyrese Gibson), whom also have heavy security guarding the sea where Megatron is captured and held bottom of the sea.
When Sam was attending his classes, he started seeing weird symbols flashing across his minds while flipping through a huge textbook. At the same time as well, the Decepticons begin their attack. The attack was lead by Starscream with Soundwave sending Ravage to retrieve the Allspark shard. New Decepticons were created and Megatron was released. Megatron heads back to Cybertron and met with his master, The Fallen.
Back at the NEST Operation, Autobots found out they were unwelcomed and the NEST were about to be discontinued. The President fears that with the Autobots around it will only cause more trouble than peace. The Decepticons begin their attack and to capture Sam but Optimus Prime came to the rescue and for his help but was killed by Megatron.
Sam feeling guilty for the death of Optimus, he begins to uncover the mystery behind the weird symbols he had been seeing and to revive the last Prime who can save Earth from the Fallen. With the help of Jetfire (an old Decepticon whom wanna change side), they head to Egypt to search for the secret behind it and the Maxtrix of Leadership to revive Optimus Prime (not going to elaborate much or it will be too much of a spoiler). Optimus was revived, The Fallen was defeated while Megatron and the Decepticons fled away.
It has interesting storyline with nice CG effects. Plenty of new Autobots – Arcee, Sideswipe, Jolt and the twins Skids & Mudflap while Decepticons have Wheelie, The Doctor, Pretender were created adding some spice to those we have known since we were kids. The cons about this movie will be the ilogical filming scenes like the one Devastator scaling the pyramid (can’t Decepticons fly?) and the little human manage to avoid the raining bricks. Added with Linkin Park’s “New Divide” as the soundtrack what more can you ask for?

I’ll start off ranting about the ticket pricing … an increase of RM 6 for a 3D version which is equivalent to 60% increase!! Well, I know our ticket pricing is still much lower compared to most countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia or Taiwan. Well, the pricing I paid was well worth it.
I suggest if you wanna watch this movie, go for the 3D version. The movie has a normal storyline and nothing to be amazed of. If you go for the 3D version, you will find that the images are quite realistic and will be slightly exciting. You will also get tiring eyes … haha.
The movie begins with Susan (Reese Witherspoon) getting married to Derek (Paul Rudd), a carrier minded news anchorman. Few minutes before the wedding, Susan got hit with a meteorite and absorbing a substance called quantonium. During the matrimony, Susan started glowing and then growing. She was immediately captured by the government secret service.
She was imprisoned along with other captured monsters which consist of a mad scientist cockroach, B.O.B., Insectisaurus and The Missing Link (fish-ape hybrid). Susan was given a monster named Ginormica. This was also when Gallaxhar, detects the quantonium on earth and launches an attack on earth.
When the Alien landed, The President of United States tried to make a first contact with the Alien but it fails and when on rampant destruction. The military tried destroying it but failed miserably. This was when General Monger, the person who ran the top secret monster prison facilities suggested to the President to use Monsters to fight off Aliens.
So the Monsters defeated the Alien. Monsters were granted freedom and still scaring off humans, who wouldn’t? Aliens launches and another attack, Susan got captured and Monsters when rescuing Susan and destroying Gallaxhar. It is a simple story plot.
The storyline is nothing interesting but the 3D version will thrill you a bit. It has some hilarious scenes and other than that this is the worst animated movie being released by Dreamworks Animation and Paramount Pictures. This is my opinion, well maybe you’ll disagree.

Interested in golfing but do not have the dough to do so? Try Everybody’s Golf or also know as Hot Shots Golf in the North America version. This game is not all about serious golfing but it offers plenty of laughter as well.
The characters are cute based and you will have more than 1 character as you proceed further in the later stages by challenging and winning against them. Each character has different abilities and in this version there is a loyalty system. The more you use a character, his / her ability gets better.
By competing in tournaments and challenges, you will win golf clubs, balls and avatars items – hairstyles, clothing, and etc … which you can use to dress up your characters and increase certain aspects of their abilities (only apply to golf club & balls)
The stages are as follows: Junior >> Beginner >> Novice >> Mid-Rank >> Senior >>Grand >>Bronze >> Silver >> Gold. You have to win tournament or match plays with a star to unlock the next stage.
Vs Mode will bring you a challenge against a character which you can unlock. You have to beat them in a game of golf which can be at any Golf Country Club to unlock it. Some matches consist of extra rules such as point game, bunker +2 and etc …
Match play will challenge you against an opponent in the game. You will play a round of golf and the first person to win 3 holes in a country club will win the match. It may also contain special rules such as point game, bunker +2, no backspin and etc …
The best part of this game is that all your special or lucky shots get recorded!! You can show off to your friends about your hole in 1 or special chip in Eagle shots. You can also manually record your shots if you think it’s one you need to remember if the system doesn’t automatically record for you. Flashback of your golfing memories …
Your stats are also recorded so that you can evaluate yourself and your golfing experiences. You will also have a medal page where you achieve special moments but so far I only have 2/12. I can’t elaborate much on it. So you think you can beat Tiger Woods or you wanna follow his footsteps, you can try this game as a starter!!

I’ve watched the movie a month ago but I didn’t have the time to write till now. However, the movie is so wrong and how can an American be Goku in the first place. Since growing up around Dragonball and being a fan of it, I thought why not give it a try. Total disapointment! So I’m not gonna write a review about it but this review is brought to you courtesy of wikipedia.org.
Two thousand years ago, the evil Namekian warlord Piccolo (James Marsters) descended upon the Earth during a solar eclipse and attempted to destroy the world with the aid of his disciple, Ozaru. A group of monks conjured the Mafuba — a powerful but life-threatening enchantment designed to bind those caught within it — and used it to imprison Piccolo. Ōzaru disappears, and the Earth gradually recovers. In the present day, Piccolo escapes his confinement and as another solar eclipse approaches, he begins searching for the legendary Dragonballs in order to make a wish to the magical dragon Shen Long.
On the night of his 18th birthday, a young high-school student and martial artist named Goku (Justin Chatwin), comes home from a party hosted by his crush Chi-Chi (Jamie Chung) to find his home obliterated and his beloved grandfather, Gohan (Randall Duk Kim), dying in the aftermath of Piccolo’s failed attempt to acquire the 4-Star Dragonball. Before he dies, Gohan tells Goku to seek out the martial arts master, Muten Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat). Along the way, Goku meets Bulma Briefs (Emmy Rossum) of the Capsule Corporation, which was studying the 5-Star Dragonball until it was stolen by Piccolo’s servant Mai (Eriko Tamura). Goku offers Bulma his services in exchange for her help in finding Roshi and they ultimately find him in Paozu City. Under Roshi’s wing, Goku begins training to harness his Ki while Bulma tries to pinpoint the location of the 6-Star Dragonball. In the midst of their search, they fall into a trap set by the desert bandit Yamcha (Joon Park) but Roshi convinces Yamcha to join them. Together, the group fight their way to the Dragonball only to be ambushed by Mai and lose the ball to her. As the group continues their quest, they travel to a temple where Roshi consults his former teacher Sifu Norris (Ernie Hudson) and begins training to perform the Mafuba enchantment so he can reseal Piccolo, while Goku must learn the most powerful of Ki techniques: the Kamehameha.
During the night, Mai – disguised as Chi-Chi – takes the 4-star Dragonball that Goku had received as a birthday gift from Gohan. Piccolo successfully unites the Dragonballs, but the group arrives in time to prevent him from summoning Shen Long. During the battle, Goku learns that he had been sent to Earth as an infant to destroy it when he came of age. As the solar eclipse begins, Goku transforms into Ōzaru. Roshi attempts to use the Mafuba, but is killed before Goku returns to his senses. Furious, Piccolo creates a gigantic Ki ball to destroy the planet. Goku performs the Kamehameha, and after a power struggle, Goku defeats Piccolo. He then uses the Dragonballs to request that Shen Long revive Roshi. As they celebrate, they realize the Dragonballs have now scattered. Bulma declares that they must seek the balls again. Before they head out, Goku visits Chi-Chi to engage in a sparring match.
In a post credits scene, a woman whom Piccolo spared earlier in the film tends to his wounds as he awakens.
Will I watch the sequel? I doubt so but will see about it then …

Dragonball Evolution is a fighting game taken from the movie itself. The game is as bad as the movie so I’ll not elaborate much about it. Some of the graphic images of the character are cut and paste images to make it look as real while some are cartoonic images. Funny right? It isn’t standardized!
The characters available are Goku, Gohan (Goku’s grandfather), Chi-Chi, Bulma, Piccolo, Transformed version of Goku, Muten Roshi (Chow Yun-Fat), Yamcha, Mai, and some other characters [I dunno their names as I played the Japanese version and I don't think it appeared in the movie].
This is the normal fighting game where you choose your character and fight against computer chosen character. The character which KO the opponent will be declare the winner unless time is up, then the player with the most HP will be declare the winner.
There are also a mode where you are give some ways to defeat the opponent such HP based, skill based and etc … Sorry, I can’t give you an exact detail as I didn’t play it much. My information provider is Hau whom completed the game with all SS ranks. Those mode will help you unlock characters such as Piccolo if I’m not mistaken you will unlock Ozaru too.
I do not recommend this game much as I rather prefer the old skool cartoonic version. I think the old skool ones will bring you more joy as you will have Kame Hame Ha instead of this game which most characters doesn’t exist yet and skills aren’t fully developed yet due to the movie. Try it out but I’ll give it 1/5 stars.

This game originated from the arcade games and it is a complete collection. It contains the following :

This game is about a soldier trying to save the world killing, slaying, bombing human enemies, bats, zombies, aliens and vehicles such as tanks, planes, ships, UFOs and etc… You can enjoy this game with your friend via multi player and complete each game together.
I started playing this game when I was 16 years old, back then when the arcade centres were still around. My friend and I didn’t quite like the game but we do play it sometimes. However, there are times when someone monopolizes the game by playing for more than an hour. We got quite pissed off as we wanted to play it and we waited for so long that fellow still haven’t completed his game. So one day, we decided to sit and learned the way he play the game as we normally can’t get pass stage 2 or stage 3 (it was Metal Slug 2). From there onwards, we became Metal Slug 2 pro-gamers as we only used 20 cents but we can enjoy the game for almost 2 hours. Why so long? It was because we were aiming for high scores in the arcades where we can save our initials in the system as most of the games will have the high scores remove when the power is switched off but not this. Most of it was my initials.
What’s so interesting about this game. There are many ways of killing the enemies such as shooting them with various weapons, bombing ‘em, slaying or knifing, rolling over them with tanks!! and etc … However, you can only obtain weapons and bombs by rescuing high rank officials which are captured as hostages. Along the way through the stage, you will also encounter some vehicles which you might be able to use such as tanks, aero planes and etc … These vehicles not only deal great damages but it also helps out very much to complete the mission easily. It also gives you lots of bonus points upon completion of mission.
This game has many hidden stuffs such as items, hostages and bonus points which you can obtained by shooting onto trees, buildings and various items. How do you know if there are hidden items? You will know about it as when you shoot it, there will be sparks coming out of it. Keep shooting a few more times and the items will drop. As for bonus points, you will have to jump dangerously to obtain it. You will need to master the skill of jumping or you will die and lose a life.
Overall this casual game is a must have. You can also play it on your free time and you have unlimited continues to help you complete the game. What’s more it is the complete collection of SNK Metal Slug!! It’s fun and exciting as enemies are chasing after you from various angles and you have to avoid the bullets and bombs like you possess the Matrix skill. One tip about the game is never to rush onwards, proceed slowly and you will find that the game is easy to play.
Help save the world and conquered terrorism! Rescue your comrades and commanders today ^^

I was checking out the ACGC event (Anime Comic Games Convention) in Tropicana Mall, Petaling Jaya and there was the cosplay competition going on. In the middle of the competition, I managed to take some photos with some cosplayers.
Hm …. cosplay isn’t quite popular here in Malaysia and maybe it is headed by our cosplay queen, Alicia (PC Gamer’s Editor). So if you had a chance to be in a cosplay, what character would you be? I was thinking of an answer for myself and I thought I can fit into 2 different characters which are Asakura Yoh of Shaman King and maybe Hanamichi Sakuragi of Slam Dunk (coz I have the skills to be one although I can jump much due to my niggling injury)

It’s been a while since I posted anything due to my busy schedule. I have lots to post but unable to squeeze anytime to blog for a while so I will do it bit by bit when I have some time to spare.
Ever wanted to be a pirate? I’m sure every child did wish they could be a pirate when they grow up. Well, here is your chance to be one in Sid Meier’s Pirates (USA Version). This pirate game resemblance back to 20 years ago during “Apple” computer era where the screen is black n green but only now that the game is in full color and some motion graphics added.
You start the game by joining one of the nation’s Pirate’s – The British, The Dutch, The Spanish or The French. Once you have decided, you will embark on a journey with your Captain and be tortured like a slave until you incite a mutiny which you eventually became the new Captain. This is where the game begins!
Among the interesting features are:
Dancing
As a respected person, you should learn to dance with the Mayor’s daughter. Once you have perfected your moves, the Mayor’s daughter will fall deeper in love with you which you might marry later in the game. Marrying a Mayor’s daughter is part of a quest which you must complete in order to move on. You can have more than 1 wife fyi.
Trade & Economy
You will sail around the whole to make some bread and butter. You can also rob merchants and other pirates for their loots and treasures. You can also purchase goods and resale it in other town but that isn’t like a pirate. However, please note that the more people you hire, your share of treasures become lesser.
Naval Battles & Capturing
While sailing, you can bombard other pirates, merchants and also the legendary pirates (such as Captain Kidd). Once you won the battle, you will seize their treasures, ship and even some of their crew will join you. By attacking other pirates, some professionals might offer to be part of your crew such as chef, navigator and etc. You can also seize over the opponents ships which you can use, some which are more powerful. Once you have captured it, remember to repair it in the nearest town and upgrade it to the maximum. From my experiments, the most powerful ships available are the ones used by the Legendary Pirates.
Sword fighting
When you go aboard other pirate’s ship, you will trigger a mini sword fighting scene where you will be testing your sword fighting skills. Beware if your crew is wipe out, you will surrender the battle instantly.
Land Warfare and Capturing of Cities
When you keep attacking a nation’s ship or merchants, the hatred towards you will rise. You will be barred from entering their town or even be attacked when you are about to docked at the harbor. Here is where the fun part begins! (at least for me) You can either keep bombarding their ships apart and prevent them from entering the town or raid the town and convert it into another country’s town by appointing a new mayor. I somehow converted half of Spain’s towns to become British cities. However please note that by doing so, you will have a bounty on your head where mine was up to 120, 000 the last time I checked.
Overall this game is fun and exciting and it has no ends. It can end whenever you want to just by retiring if you do not want to complete the game by doing missions. However if you go by the storyline and missions at the end you will find that the hero (which you are using is a real cheapskate!!) Why? Find out yourself … hehe.
The graphics are not so beautiful and the game itself is a repeatable process. It then gets down to the person itself whether the game is interesting or boring. It will be a great game if you play it on your free time but if you tend to play for long hours you will find it boring.
